Vision and Values

Furze Infants is large, exciting, and culturally diverse community school within the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.

We currently have 15 classes in a five form entry setting.  We also have a large Nursery with spaces for up to 104 children.  All our classes have 28 children maximum with pupils aged between 3-7 years.

There are currently waiting lists in most year groups, in particular Reception, as the school's reputation within the local area goes from strength to strength.

The dedicated, caring and hard working staff team ensure that they provide the very best opportunities for pupils.  This is shared by our pupils who have "outstanding behaviour" (Ofsted, Jan 19) interested parents and long-serving Governors.

The majority of our pupils will move to Warren Junior School (part of the Furze-Warren Federation) when they leave us at the end of Year 2.  Warren Junior School is a 10 minute walk from Furze Infant School.

Mission Statement

We believe that everyone should be treated equally and fairly no matter what race, religion, beliefs , mental or physical ability or gender identity they hold.

We aim to provide the best opportunities for teaching and learning which will inspire, motivate and engage all children.
